Falls Creek Environmental Interest Group

Project Type

Logo design and flyer

Client

Falls Creek Environmental Interest Group, a community-driven initiative supported by the resort management at Falls Creek.

Brief

Falls Creek Environmental Interest group was looking for a logo to represent their group and a flyer to educate and engage the wider local community on the ground environmental actions.

Outcome and Solution

The final logo employs a combination mark, integrating the organic imagery of the native Billy Button flower with strong,  typography to establish a sense of place. The chosen colour palette, inspired by the cool silver tones of the mountain terrain and the soft, muted greens of native eucalyptus trees, reinforces the group's connection to the natural environment.

For the flyer, a double-sided A5 layout was crafted, utilising a clean grid and balanced composition to ensure readability and visual flow. The front side prominently features the logo and a bold headline to capture attention, while the reverse side organises key event types with nice environmental images. This flyer will be distributed at the local information centre and during recruitment events, effectively extending the group's outreach efforts.
